Travel news:

Anti-theft products are hot news

Wow!

Our article about travellers gaining the edge over pickpockets, sure caught the eye and public imagination.

The reaction from readers was such that we launched a series of follow-up reviews of the new generation of personal safety items that are revolutionising a key part of the travel experience.

And, while these clever products might seem tailor-made for backpackers moving in and out of hostels, most are also ideal for senior travellers who are just as keen to keep their valuables safe.

Concern about pickpocketing, especially in Europe, has grown from an irritant into a hot issue over the past few years.

And we’re doing our best to pass on valuable tips and safety suggestions, such as clever luggage, anti- theft hand baggage and clever clothing.

Watch for our first hand reviews.
